Trail Description

Susie O – Dudette – Hand Solo – Jumps – Black Tower is a fun, fast point-to-point trail linking some of Roberts Creek’s most popular singletrack into one smooth 5 km run. It’s rated very easy with no real elevation gain, topping out around 612 m, so it’s more about flow than fitness. Most riders cruise it in under an hour, making it a solid quick-hit ride or a warm-up before tackling bigger Sunshine Coast classics.

The trail rolls through classic Roberts Creek forest, with packed dirt, gentle grades, and a mix of mellow corners and playful sections. As the name hints, you move through distinct segments, from the easier Susie O and Dudette pieces into the more character-filled Hand Solo, Jumps, and Black Tower stretches. Expect a straightforward line with optional features rather than mandatory hits, so newer riders can relax while more experienced riders pump and play.

Recent riders describe the Susie O – Dudette – Hand Solo – Jumps – Black Tower trail as easygoing and usually quiet, with very little traffic compared to busier Sunshine Coast spots. Surfaces can turn slick after rain, with roots and wood features demanding a bit more attention, so dial back the speed when it’s wet. It rides well most of the year, but winter storms can drop branches or cause soft patches, so check current Roberts Creek trail reports, ride with a buddy if you’re new to the area, and plan a shuttle or pedal link since it’s a true point-to-point.
