Trail Description

Pacheco Street – Dude's Bypass – Susie O Street is a short, easy loop in Roberts Creek that feels like a quick forest reset rather than a big mission. At just 2.6 km with about 100 m of gain and a high point around 614 m, it’s a mellow option when you want to stretch your legs without committing to a full-day hike.

The loop winds through classic Roberts Creek forest, with a mix of second-growth trees, soft dirt, and the occasional rooty or slightly rocky stretch. It’s popular with local hikers, runners, and mountain bikers, but it usually stays fairly quiet, so you can move at your own pace and actually hear the woods around you.

The Pacheco Street – Dude's Bypass – Susie O Street trail is well-suited to beginners or anyone easing back into hiking, with most people finishing in under an hour. Expect some mud after rain and a few short ups and downs, but nothing technical, and dogs are allowed on leash. This loop works year-round in Roberts Creek, though fall and winter can be wetter and darker under the trees, so bring decent footwear and a light if you’re heading out late in the day.
