Trail Description

Distributor - Dudette - Dude's Bypass - Janet's Jungle is a mellow forest loop in Roberts Creek that links together some of the Sunshine Coast’s classic singletrack. At just 2.9 km with about 100 m of gain, it’s an easy, low-commitment outing that still feels like you’ve actually gone for a hike. The loop usually takes under an hour, so it’s a solid choice for a quick leg-stretcher before or after work.

The trail winds through second-growth forest with soft, loamy tread and plenty of roots, with short ups and downs that keep it interesting without ever feeling tough. You’ll share the Distributor - Dudette - Dude's Bypass - Janet's Jungle loop with mountain bikers, since this is a well-loved riding zone in Roberts Creek, but sightlines are generally good and traffic is usually light. Expect mossy trees, ferns, and that classic Coast Range vibe rather than big viewpoints.

This loop stays hikeable year-round, though it can get muddy and slick after rain, and the roots can be greasy in winter. Good grip on your shoes makes a big difference, and keeping dogs leashed is smart with bikes around. Download a map or track the route on your phone, as the network around Roberts Creek is a bit of a maze and trail names like Distributor and Dude's Bypass can be easy to miss at junctions.
