Trail Description

Pacheco Street - Janet's Jungle - DNZ - Progression - Lost and Found is a short, chill point-to-point link-up above Roberts Creek that feels more like a fun cruise than a workout. At 4.2 km with only about 2 m of elevation gain and a max altitude around 614 m, it’s a very easy route that most people finish in under an hour. The trail is best known as a mellow mountain bike line, but it also works as a relaxed forest walk if you just want some quiet time in the woods.

The route strings together classic Roberts Creek singletrack with a smooth, flowing feel the whole way. You’ll be in the trees almost the entire time, moving through second-growth coastal forest with roots, loam, and the odd small dip or roll, but nothing technical by hiking standards. Views are mostly filtered through the forest, so this is more about the calm vibe and steady motion than big lookouts.

Right now, expect a very easy walk with only minor muddy patches after rain and some bike traffic on weekends, since Pacheco Street - Janet's Jungle - DNZ - Progression - Lost and Found is popular with local riders. Keep your ears open, step aside for bikes, and consider hiking it earlier in the day for a quieter experience. The trail is usable year-round thanks to Roberts Creek’s mild climate, though winter brings more mud and slick roots, while late spring through fall offers the driest, most straightforward conditions.
