Trail Description

iTrail - Crossover - Guy's Gulch is a short, easy loop in the Roberts Creek area that feels just far enough from the crowds to give you some real quiet. At 4.2 km with about 132 m of gain, it’s a mellow hour-or-so wander that works well as a quick after-work leg-stretcher or a low-commitment outing on a cloudy day.

The loop rolls through classic Sunshine Coast forest, with a mix of old logging roads and narrower singletrack linking things together. There’s a surprisingly good viewpoint along the way, giving you a break from the trees and a sense of the surrounding Roberts Creek hills before you drop back into the woods to close the loop.

Recent reports mention sections of iTrail - Crossover - Guy's Gulch being chewed up by motorized vehicles, especially where the trail used to be narrower, so expect some ruts, loose sections, and widening in spots. Footing is still fine for most hikers, but waterproof shoes help after rain when the damaged bits hold mud and water. This loop is hikeable year-round thanks to the low elevation, though winter can bring slick roots and patches of snow or ice near the 615 m high point, so check conditions and be ready to turn around if it feels sketchy.
