Trail Description
The Distributor, Susie O'Street, Guy's Gulch Loop Trail in Roberts Creek is a laid-back forest wander with a bit of a maze vibe. It’s an easy 6.6 km loop with about 241 m of gain, topping out around 615 m, and usually takes around two hours, so it’s a solid after-work or half-day outing on the Sunshine Coast.
Most of the loop winds through classic Roberts Creek forest: tall trees, soft dirt, and that damp coastal air. The trail weaves in and out of established mountain biking routes, so expect wide, smooth sections mixed with twisty connectors, but don’t expect big viewpoints or ocean vistas here. This one is more about the quiet, the moss, and the steady rhythm of walking in the woods.
Recent hikers say the Distributor, Susie O'Street, Guy's Gulch Loop Trail is easy on the legs but a bit tricky for navigation, with a few junctions where it’s easy to drift onto bike lines, so having a GPS app or map loaded is smart. You’ll likely share parts of the route with mountain bikers, so keep an ear out and step aside when needed. The trail is generally good year-round, though it can get muddy and slick after rain, so decent footwear helps, and this loop makes a great shoulder-season option when higher-elevation routes around Roberts Creek are still snowed in.
