Trail Description

Bob's ReBob Upper and Lower Loop Trail in Whistler is a short forest loop that locals know more for biking than for big views. At 3.7 km with about 225 m of gain and a high point around 830 m, it’s a moderate outing that usually takes about an hour and a half at a relaxed pace. If you want a quick leg-stretcher close to town without committing to a full mountain mission, this loop does the job.

The trail winds through typical Whistler forest: mossy ground, dense trees, and the steady hum of bikes on nearby singletrack. As a hiker, you’re mostly in the trees with limited viewpoints, so this is more about moving your body and enjoying the quiet pockets between riders than chasing big scenery. The loop layout makes it easy to zone out, follow the path, and be back at your car without much route-finding.

Recent hikers say Bob's ReBob Upper and Lower Loop Trail looks great for bikes but is pretty average for hiking, so set expectations accordingly. The tread can be rooty and slick after rain, and you’ll want to stay alert for mountain bikers, especially on weekends and evenings. Aim for April through October for snow-free conditions, keep dogs leashed, and think of this one as a convenient Whistler forest workout rather than a bucket-list hike.
