Trail Description

Kwomais Point and Fun Fun Park is a short, easy loop in South Surrey, just up the hill from White Rock and close to the ocean bluffs. At only 1.8 km with about 29 m of elevation gain, it’s a quick 25-minute wander that works well as a leg-stretcher, dog walk, or add-on to a visit to Crescent Beach and White Rock.

The loop links the open park space and playground area with bits of forest trail, so you get a mix of paved and dirt paths. Views here are more about tall trees, quiet residential edges, and the feel of being close to the shoreline rather than big mountain scenery, but you’re a short walk from viewpoints over Boundary Bay if you explore the park area a bit more.

Recent hikers say the Kwomais Point and Fun Fun Park loop can be a bit confusing, with some paths not matching online maps and a few rougher patches. It’s rated very easy, but “stroller friendly” is a stretch in spots thanks to roots, stumps, and uneven ground, so bring a sturdy stroller and a sense of humor if you try it. The trail is open year-round and handles rain fairly well, but expect mud and slick roots in winter; check your map as you go and treat this as a casual urban nature walk rather than a dialed-in, well-signed route.
