Trail Description
Harris Landing Park Loop in Pitt Meadows is a quick, easy riverside walk that feels like a reset button after a busy day. At just 2.6 km with almost no elevation gain, it’s more of a relaxed stroll than a hike, and most people wrap it up in about 30 minutes without breaking a sweat.
The loop follows a wide gravel path along the Fraser River, with calm water views, bird calls, and plenty of spots where you can wander down closer to the shoreline. Parts of the route pass through Osprey Village, which adds some shade, benches, and a bit of charm, and the open stretches make for great sunset viewing when the sky lights up over the river.
Right now, the Harris Landing Park Loop is in good shape, with a clear, flat path that’s easy for kids, strollers, and casual walkers. Expect a mix of dogs, families, and a steady flow of cyclists on the greenway section, so be ready to step aside now and then. It can feel hot on the exposed road portions in summer, so bring water and a hat, and aim for mornings, evenings, or the March–October window for the nicest conditions.
