Trail Description

Hustler – Flow – Ray Ray’s Fun Factory in Coquitlam is a short, punchy loop that feels like a proper workout without eating your whole day. At 2.1 km with about 117 m of gain, it’s rated easy, but the steady climb and rocky sections keep it interesting and will get your heart rate up. Expect around 45 minutes at a casual pace, a bit longer if you stop to watch the mountain bikers.

The loop starts from the Harper Road area and climbs through classic Coquitlam forest, with roots, rocks, and a few fun twists as you wind uphill. This is primarily a mountain biking network, so you’ll pass flowy berms, ramps, and features, but there are clear side lines for hikers beside the bike hits. The forest is dense enough that you’re mostly in the trees, with filtered views and that cool, damp coastal air rather than big open vistas.

Recent reports say the Hustler – Flow – Ray Ray’s Fun Factory loop is in good shape, with more leaves on the ground in fall and the odd bit of debris after wind storms. It can get wet and muddy after rain, so wear shoes with grip and watch your footing on the rockier bits. Weekends see a lot of bike traffic, so hikers are better off coming on weekdays or later in the evening, and always be ready to yield and step aside on the bike sections; dogs should stay leashed and close so you’re not blocking the line.
