Trail Description

Flow, Tyler, Brap, Fluid, and Hustler Loop is a short but busy 3.4 km loop in the Harper Mountain bike area near Coquitlam, British Columbia. It gains about 197 m to a max of roughly 381 m, so it feels like a solid moderate workout without eating your whole day, usually under an hour. This zone is designed first for mountain biking, so hikers are guests here and need to stay alert and ready to step aside.

The loop twists through classic coastal forest, with a mix of smooth sections and punchy little climbs and descents. You’ll cross a few side trails and bike lines, and it’s easy to be tempted off route toward the ravine, where there’s a small creek and bridge that are worth a quick detour if it’s quiet. Views are mostly in-the-trees, but the flowy terrain and rolling feel keep it interesting the whole way around.

Right now, rider reports say the main bike trails are in decent shape, but the main access road is rough, with loose rock and water channels, while lower Harper Road is surprisingly better. It’s also easy to get off track if you follow faint side paths, so keep an eye on your map and remember there’s a road below if you do end up bushwhacking down like one recent user. Flow, Tyler, Brap, Fluid, and Hustler Loop is best from April to September, and you should expect seasonal closures or messy conditions in winter; this area is really meant for bikes, so if you’re hiking, go at quieter times, leave the dog at home, and stay sharp for fast riders.
