Trail Description

Peach Park Walk in Chilliwack is a quick, low-effort loop that still feels like you’ve stepped into real nature. At just 1.1 km with about 27 m of gentle gain, it’s more of a relaxed stroll than a hike, and most people are done in around 15–20 minutes. It’s a handy little route if you’re already down by the Vedder River or looking to stretch your legs with kids, visitors, or the dog.

The loop starts from the end of Peach Road, where there’s an official parking area, then links up with the Vedder Rotary Trail North along the river between about 0.2 and 0.6 km. You get a mix of small forest, open stretches, and views toward the clear, fast-moving Vedder River, with the usual Chilliwack birdlife and the odd runner cruising by. It’s flat, easy to follow, and close enough to town that you still feel connected, but quiet enough for a quick mental reset.

Recent notes are pretty sparse, but locals still use this area for walking, running, and quick spins from Vedder, so conditions are generally good and straightforward. The Peach Park Walk is open year-round, though it can get damp and muddy after heavy rain, so basic runners or light hikers with some grip are smart in fall and winter. Go early or on weekdays for more solitude, keep dogs leashed as signed, and use this loop as a short standalone outing or a warm-up before exploring more of the Vedder River trails around Chilliwack.
