Trail Description

Glen’s Loop in Mission, BC is a short, easy forest walk that feels like a quick reset more than a workout. At just 2.3 km with about 56 m of gain, most people finish it in under half an hour, though some trackers put it closer to 2.6 km. It’s a gentle loop that suits casual walkers, families, and anyone looking for a calm start or end to the day.

The trail winds through the trees in Fraser River Heritage Park, so think shady paths, soft ground, and a steady “walk in the woods” vibe rather than big viewpoints. You’ll pass a small creek, hear birds all around, and people often spot robins and other local wildlife, especially in the evening. The route can feel a bit confusing in spots, so bringing a map app helps keep you on Glen’s Loop and not wandering onto side paths.

Current reports say the trail is quiet, peaceful, and non-technical, with dog walkers using it regularly; keep dogs leashed unless you’re in a clearly allowed area. The creek and forest cover mean mosquitos can be annoying in warmer months, so bug spray is smart. There’s a washroom back at the main open grass area of Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission, but nothing along Glen’s Loop itself, so plan ahead and treat this as a simple, low-stress forest loop you can walk year-round, with especially nice conditions in spring and fall.
