The loop circles through a mix of open green space and lightly treed sections, with a smooth, easy-to-follow path that works well for walking or a short jog. You won’t get major viewpoints here, but you do get a calm, neighborhood-park vibe and a simple route that’s easy to navigate in any direction.
Southern Park Loop is open year-round and tends to stay accessible in most weather, though it can get damp and a bit muddy after rain, so plan footwear accordingly.
