Overview: Try this 8.2-km out-and-back trail near Soowahlie 14, British Columbia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 0 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Little Vedder Trail is a shorter version of the Vedder Rotary Trail South. The path starts at the Vedder River Campground, where you will easily find parking for your vehicle. Then the route follows the Vedder river until it reaches Crossing Park. Along the trail, at three different moments, the course has bifurcation to get closer to the river to birdwatch the herons.
