Overview: Discover this 14.5-km point-to-point trail near Sunshine Valley, British Columbia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 57 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and fishing, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Skagit River Trail can be started from either end: the north end at Sumallo Grove day use area, or the south end at Silver Skagit Road. It's a well traveled trail that's easy to follow, although you may encounter some blowdown due to wildfire in previous years. It follows the river through a temperate rainforest with lush undergrowth. Delacey Camp is on the way and is a great spot for fishing.
