Trail Description
Les Robson Trail in Maple Ridge, British Columbia is one of those short local walks that feels way nicer than the stats suggest. At just 2.4 km with about 45 m of gentle gain, it’s an easy out-and-back that most people finish in around 35 minutes, making it a quick escape into the trees without committing your whole day.
The walking is straightforward and flat enough for casual walkers, kids, and seniors, with a wide, obvious path and only mild ups and downs. You’ll pass through quiet forest with water features nearby, giving it that cool, shaded feel and a bit of a “hidden gem” vibe even though it’s close to Maple Ridge neighbourhoods.
Recent visitors say the Les Robson Trail is clean, well maintained, and offers a few side options so you can extend or shorten your walk as you like. Good footwear is still smart in wet weather, as any forest trail in Maple Ridge can get slick or muddy after rain. This one works year-round, but expect more puddles in winter and early spring, and bring bug spray once things warm up since the water and shade can draw mosquitoes.
