Trail Description

Hi-Knoll Park – Brydon Lagoon in Langley is a quick, low-effort walk with a lot of payoff if you like water, birds, and easy terrain. At just 1.9 km with barely 11 m of elevation gain, this out-and-back path is more of a relaxed stroll than a hike, and most people are done in around 20–25 minutes.

The route winds around Brydon Lagoon, giving you constant water views and plenty of chances to spot ducks and other waterfowl cruising the surface or hanging out on the shoreline. The trail is wide, flat, and straightforward, so you can focus on the scenery, chat with a friend, or let the kids explore without worrying about roots, rocks, or steep sections.

Recent visitors say Hi-Knoll Park – Brydon Lagoon is very easy to navigate, with clear paths and lots of ducks right now, which makes it a fun stop for families and casual walkers. It’s open year-round, but expect wetter sections and a bit of mud after rain, so casual waterproof shoes are handy. Go early in the morning or later in the evening for a quieter loop and better bird activity, and remember that dogs are welcome on leash, which helps keep the wildlife relaxed and visible.
