Trail Description

The Twin Falls Loop via Sea to Sky Trail in North Vancouver links together some of the best bits of Inter River and Lynn Canyon Parks into a relaxed 7.2 km loop. With only about 204 m of elevation gain and a high point around 145 m, it’s an easy outing that usually takes just under two hours, making it a solid choice for a quick hike or trail run close to the city.

The first half is the highlight. You follow the Sea to Sky and Baden Powell Trails through classic North Vancouver rainforest, with Lynn Creek roaring beside you and plenty of side paths down to the water. Stairs and short inclines keep it interesting but never punishing, and the Twin Falls Bridge gives you the main payoff view, with the falls framed by steep canyon walls and dense forest.

Recent hikers are all saying the same thing: the forested east side is great, the west side feels like a suburban walk. The official Twin Falls Loop via Sea to Sky Trail route sends you out onto sidewalks and quiet residential streets for the back half, which feels a bit anticlimactic after the canyon. If you want to stay in the trees, treat it as an out-and-back from the Inter River Park parking lot to Twin Falls and return the same way. The trail is well maintained, fine on rainy days, and open year-round, but go early or on weekdays to avoid crowds and give yourself time to explore the creek access spots safely.
