Trail Description

Boulder View Trail near Hope, BC is a quick, low-effort loop that still feels like a real walk in the woods. At just 1.4 km with barely any elevation gain, it’s more of a relaxed wander than a workout, which makes it an easy add-on stop if you’re already in the Fraser Canyon or heading through Hope.

The loop is well maintained and clear, winding through forest and along Skwawolt Creek, with soft ground underfoot and plenty of greenery. It’s popular with families and casual walkers, and the nearby playground and pump track give kids a place to burn extra energy while adults stretch their legs on the Boulder View Trail.

Current reports say the trail is in good shape and easy to follow, but mosquitoes ramp up near the water, especially in warmer months, so bug spray is almost mandatory. The area is on First Nation land and open to the public from dawn to dusk, so be respectful, keep dogs leashed, and stay on the main path. Boulder View Trail in Hope is open year-round, and because it’s so short and flat, it works well as a shoulder-season or rainy-day option when bigger hikes are still snowed in.
